Departments in the College of Arts and Sciences

The College of Arts and Sciences comprises four departments:
- Department of Humanities and Fine Arts, which includes English & Communications, History, Music, Philosophy & Religion, Foreign Languages, and African and African American Studies.
- Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, which includes Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, and Mathematics.
- Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, which includes Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice and Political Science.
- Department of Teacher Education and Kinesiology, which includes Teacher Education (Interdisciplinary Studies, Secondary Certification and Alternative Certification programs) and Kinesiology.
The College of Arts and Sciences also includes the University's Core Curriculum and the DuBois Honors Program.
